PAX 2008 Tickets

Post by zodiacprime » Wed Mar 12, 2008 10:35 pm

Just wanted to post a quick reminder that PAX '08 Early-Bird special ends March 31st... Order 'em up today boys!

Saves you $10 on the 3-day pass, $5 on a single day.

You might say, "eh.. save $5.. wha??" but believe me, not standing in line to purchase tickets on "game day" is worth waaaaay more than that fiver.

... and for those who haven't been, this is _the_ premiere event for gamers of all sorts, I've been the last two years running and can't say enough good things about it. If you want a sample of just some of the l00t you can get from PAX, check out my roving game pix flickr page (look for any heading with 'PAX' in it):

Enjoy, hopefully I'll see you there.

I will be buying my tickets, plane, hotel and event soon. I can't wait to finally go this year. I've missed the past 3 years because of college starting that week, now I've graduated and I'm going dang it!

I really want to go (I've never been to a convention of any kind before) but my girlfriend is in college that week, and I probably don't want to travel up there and wander around by myself. Not that she's into video games, but she's nice enough to pretend for three days if I asked. :)

Woody and I went last year and it was a blast.

I will be heading up for at least one day this year... not sure if Woody is going to make it.

woo... that was close. I almost missed taking my own advice. I realized at about 11:15pm last night that I still hadn't bought tickets... Needless to say, I've secured the tickets and can now confirm that me and my girlfriend will be going for all 3 days again this year! ... Now the waiting begins...

You will never see this anywhere but PAX

One of the many many many reasons PAX is so cool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PZMc0uIIdFE

pretty standard fare at PAX, but I'd doubt you'd find this type of thing at any other convention. There are many me-too type of conventions about game(r)s but PAX is truly unique. Don't miss it. http://www.pennyarcadeexpo.com/index.php
