I know we can all see eachothers but which ones are you guys most proud of. Two of mine are 1000 head shots in PDZ and completing COD 2 on the hardend difficulty.

I really have no achievements that I can say I am proud of. Completing Condemned was great, but not too difficult to do.

I am most of the way through Call of Duty on veteran difficulty, just working through the American campaign, those are probably the best achievements for me so far. Now I just need to go finish it... this weekend... maybe...

I used to think my achievements in Geometry Wars were good until Teal put me to shame...

How in the FRIG are you guys getting these achievements??? I've been playing my butt off and it just ain't happening. Take Hexic HD for example. In order for me to get my next achievement, I've got to do the legendary Oyster-meister. That is to surround one piece with six starflower pieces. Can we say impossible???

Right now, I'm working on making my way through the COD2 veteran missions. Nasty stuff.

Oh well, time to get plugging away at it again.

The thing about achievements is that they are not all "created equal". COD2 on veteran difficulty are some of the harder achievements to obtain. In contrast, the early 2K sports titles, or last years Madden can be completed in a couple of hours. Then, take a game like Perfect Dark Zero. You get like 20 points for completing the entire game. The rest of the achievements are only available via multiplayer.

A good site to check out is:

http://www.achieve360points.com/

You can click on a game and determine what points are available in it before you go out and purchase it. Not that points should drive your purchasing decision. But, it is sometimes interesting to note what you are going to be up against in getting them.

Thanks raz...
I'll be checking that site. I agree achievements don't drive my purchases but I can't help feeling like a lame n00b with only 90 acheivement points when everyone else is in the thousands!!

Chalk it up to the Microsoft marketing machine to drive sales through customer competition!

Another fun 360 site is 360voice.com

Your 360 seems to be talking quite a bit, and it thinks your 90 achievement points are pretty good. :D
iamsjn turned on the juice and we did some serious gaming! 90 points of total gamerscore is pretty good. Admit it.

Finally finished the D-Day mission on Veteran difficulty. Man... that was hard, and I hear Hill 400 is harder... sigh.

Well, on to The Battle for Caen. I just have to say, even though this was a launch title, COD2 is probably the most impressive title on the 360. I can't want for COD3.
