My Photos of GameOn Expo in London November 2006

I went to the GameOn expo yesterday at London's Science Museum.

Here's a few photos for those who want to have a look at what they had.

AMAZING SHOTS Horprodukt!!
I would have loved to have been there. That "wall of classic consoles" looks like it was a blast. I would have spent the majority of my time there. I like that shot of all the handhelds. I have fond memories of that Mattel Football handheld. So, where did you spend the majority of your time?

Lastly, is it wrong to think that Daphne from Dragon's Lair is hot?

Thanks for sharing those great pics!

Those are some nice pics!

I love the Maneater arcade game. I have never seen one of those in person, but I really hope to some day. It is also cool that they had Ralph Baer's brown box on display.

When i first entered i did a quick scout round the whole expo to see what they had, then went back to the beginning and did the whole thing in more detail, playing for a bit on each. Then for the last couple of hours i concentrated on the cabs. Asteroids and Discs of Tron getting most of my time. Asteroids looks stunning on a vector monitor, which you don't get playing it on MAME at home (those bullets are so bright!), and Discs of Tron is just so much fun to play, i love it. The cab is beautiful, the sounds are great. It's one of my favourites. Playing the original cab with the proper controls is great.
I would have loved to play the sit down version of Star Wars but there was always a big queue for that as it's so popular.

I say we have a party at Chris's house. Don't you have a sit down at home?

Unfortunately, I only have the standup version. Someday... But, if you want to stop by and play it, feel free. :D
