Heh, I remember the day I first saw Pong, it was at OMSI (the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, for all you non-Oregonians). I was thrilled out of my mind, and I remember how my dad didn't get it, he thought it was a boring, worthless game, not even as cool as pinball. And though there is some truth to that -- pinball at the time was more complex and sophisticated -- it was all about the potential that someday your TV screen could show you anything.

Great link Dave!

Watching all those commercials was really nostalgic. I must say seeing the Vectrex commercial made me want one, so I immediately went on eBay and started searching... some day. I always wanted one, "back in the day", but they were way too expensive.
