I'm bummed about HD-DVD support going away. I prefer using my 360 HD-DVD player far more than the PS3... Mostly because the PS3 doesn't allow you to use a simple IR remote so my Harmony Remote can't talk to it, and I HATE having to dig out a PS3 controller when I want to watch a blu-ray. Ah well. Gu...

I've only played call of duty 2 & 4 on veteran difficulty. While I loved both games, I can definitely see how playing it at least one notch lower difficulty would have made it more enjoyable... Much more so in Call of duty 4. Raz, let me know what you think of the "escape the farm" level in CoD4. Th...

fyi... When my 360 died (the second time) i went to walmart and picked up a core system... when I got my 360 back several weeks later I brought my core system back to walmart and returned it without a problem...(of course I had the receipt and all packing materials and whatnot)... Actually, I had my...

So REZ HD just came out on XBLA...

...But a part of me is actually more excited about the release of Chessmaster! I haven't purchased the full game yet, but the from the demo i'm pretty excited. Mostly because I suck at chess: I've always enjoyed the game, but have never really had the chance to get serious about it. The XBLA game ha...

I have the exact same problem when playing the DS. My hands usually hurt like hell after playing it for a while. But I don't think the thumb strap is anywhere near as bad as the stylus. And not having to hit any other buttons helps to. But yeah. The DS gives me one hell of a claw hand.

I Can't say I was too impressed with New Super Mario Bros. Certainly, it was an incredibly well designed game. I just got tired of it after a little while. 2d platformers just don't do it for me anymore and I couldn't shake the feeling that I had already played that game many times before. Of course...

Consider the xbla pricing to be a complete fluke. I have no problem recommending anyone who even remotely enjoyed Geometry Wars on 360 to go spend 30$ on the DS Geo Wars game. To me, Geo wars is exactly the kind of game I want to have on a portable system because you can get into it right away (it d...

Personally, I couldn't be more disappointed in the Wii. For the most part, my Wii has been a big paperweight. I didn't even make it very far into Twighlight Princess (the last thing I recall doing was defrosting a bunch of fish people). In the last year, I've only used my Wii a handful of times, and...

For people who rarely play their DS.....

Raz, in the show you mentioned how you rarely play your DS. I'm in the same boat, even though I find myself buying games for it than get booted up maybe once or twice (ex. phantom hourglass). However, I've finally found something that has me playing my DS nearly everyday. Geometry Wars: Galaxies. Da...

Halo 3 Beta

Well, someone had to say *something*. I'm really loving the Halo 3 beta. Of course, it's very familiar to Halo 2... The button layout takes some getting used to but once learned is easily superior to the older control styles. I'm hoping the game gets one more layer of polish to the graphics before r...

Here's the Thing... there are two different versions of the 360 guitar at retail. You can tell the difference between the two based on the position of the expansion jack. I ended up with one of each version. The rumor on the net that one of the two versions is the problematic one. I do know that one...
