Mostly Tiger Woods Golf and Viva Pinata on the 360 lately. On the DS I have gotten to level 8 of New Super Mario. And of course I am still playing NetHack now and then, mostly on the Mac but it is available for most operating systems. I hope to do a show about Rogue-like games someday, especially Ne...

I definitely love the look of this game, and the overall concept. I hope it plays as good as it looks.

Root Beer Tapper is a massive nostalgia hit for me, I remember playing it in the arcades, so I might get it for that reason. However, it is a very simplistic game with very little strategy.

I played some two-player co-op Gears of War with Magic Man (aka The Brass) this weekend. That was fun, it works quite well as a cooperative game. I noticed a little bit of lag, but it wasn't too bad.

On one of our previous podcasts I stated that the motorcycles in TDU were a huge disappointment and completely unrealistic. After playing the game more, I have to modify that opinion a little bit. It is still true that the motorcycle physics and handling is unrealistic compared to a game like Moto G...

Yeah, when you get this game, immediately go into Stamp Mode and start unlocking things! Stratego (field tactics) is cool. It also plays a good game of chess. I haven't played multiplayer yet but I can imagine that it would be fun. This is indeed probably the best value on the DS.

Eragon! This is my girlfriend's favorite 360 game. She says, "let the girl play as Brom (player 2)." Also Lego Star Wars II and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. She also says that Perfect Dark is "OK."

Zuma on Xbox Live Arcade is also good.

I got my replacement 360 yesterday. I fired it up and right away I was chatting with The Brass, which was a fun welcome back :) . Anyway, even though obviously I would prefer if it had never broken in the first place, I have to say I was impressed by Microsoft's prompt, courteous, efficient service....

Heh, this topic is funny. I do tend to lean back. I think this is because in the early episodes I was talking too loud. When I get excited about the topic I start talking louder and louder until I'm practically shouting, so to compensate I lean back from the mic. I guess I'm leaning back too much no...

Heh, I remember the day I first saw Pong, it was at OMSI (the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, for all you non-Oregonians). I was thrilled out of my mind, and I remember how my dad didn't get it, he thought it was a boring, worthless game, not even as cool as pinball. And though there is some ...

Yes, I agree that this is great. Things can go wrong with high tech equipment. Of course in the best case it is tested and rock solid before release, but we know that is not always going to be the case. What makes the difference is how the company responds. Do they step up and "make things right" or...

Defender tips: I'm not doing anything too exotic, but here are the basics: shoot the aliens when they are holding a human, catch the human as he falls, and then put him back on the ground. Each time you do this you get 1000 points. In the first two waves, fly around quickly and don't let them get aw...
