Mutant Storm Empire 360

I just took a look at these clips of "Mutant Storm Empire" for the 360 over at Gametrailers ....... Has anyone played it yet? It looks great. I'm presuming it's an update of "Geometry Wars"? (Which in turn is kinda updated from Robotron).

Living in the UK we don't get the chance to purchase a PS3, not for a while anyway, so i was happy to have the opportunity to play "Resistance Fall of Man" in my local Computer Exchange store on an imported PS3.......and i have to say that i wasn't impressed at all. It didn't seem to be too far away...

When i first entered i did a quick scout round the whole expo to see what they had, then went back to the beginning and did the whole thing in more detail, playing for a bit on each. Then for the last couple of hours i concentrated on the cabs. Asteroids and Discs of Tron getting most of my time. As...

Anyway, the joystick in question was released in the UK as a Konix Speedking ..... i believe Epyx re-released it as Epyx 500XJ in the USA, but it wa...

I haven't played it yet, but have been keeping an eye on it's progress. This games looks wonderful. It's great that they took the time to come up with an aesthetically pleasing style ......when game becomes "art" perhaps! A refreshing change to generic 3D game visuals, that have photographic texture...

Backwards compatibility is handy if you're tight on space. I have too many consoles and computers to have them all out at once, and living in central London (UK) space is an issue, what with my wife's shoe collection, and our kid's toys everywhere. (Look at my profile for a list, which doesn't inclu...

Commodore 64 SID tunes

I'm a big fan of the C64, and love the music it produced using it's SID chip. There's plenty of C64 music sites out there, but many remix and mess around with the original tunes. I found this site today, whch has MP3s of classic C64 tunes in their original state. Someone mentioned Commando for examp...
