Okay, I just finished listening and am posting from work. Few thoughts... Thanks for having me on! I had a good time, and didn't sound like nearly as much of an ass as I thought I did after I hung up with you guys. The thing is, you guys were hearing me on a delay of some sort. Like whenever I said ...

Hilarious GTA-based ad for Coca-Cola

I'm sure everyone's already seen this because I always find the cool stuff late, but here it is anyway:

I'm pretty sure it's an official Coca-Cola ad. It captured so many great little details from GTA that I can't stop laughing when I watch it

For a long while it was 110 to 120 every day here in the San Fernando Valley, but lately it's been 85 to 89 and felt great in comparison. I'm cramming in as much King's Quest VIII: Mask of Eternity as I have time for, since my copy of Elder Scrolls Oblivion arrived a couple days ago and I vowed not ...

Just listened to the podcast. Great work as always. Few thoughts... I've never played any of the laserdisc titles in the arcade, but I do have a SEGA CD. I've played both Dragon's Lair and Space Ace, and I must say I do not like them. Maybe I'm a wuss, or just impatient, but I don't want to sit ther...

Okay, well I made my decision. I just ordered an ATI Radeon X800 XT video card off eBay for $95. Less than 25% of the cost of the XBox. After weighing all the pros and cons, the amount of money I'm saving plus the number of mods that are out there for Oblivion made me choose the PC. My only hope is ...

Another factor in XBox 360 vs. PC video card. Aren't all the XBox 360 games widescreen?

I finally got a widescreen TV a couple months ago, and only yesterday I played my first ever widescreen game (Perfect Dark for N64--man, RARE was developing ahead of its time) and it was VERY COOL.

I haven't played it, but I'd guess Freddy Pharkas Frontier Pharmacist? It was an Al Lowe game (creater of Leisure Suit Larry) that took place in the wild west... I've got to get my hands on that game, and Gold Rush too come to think of it...

I'd never heard of Morrowind until I started reading reviews for Oblivion (not much of an RPG guy), but the reviews I read for Oblivion made a few references to things as "fixed since Morrowind" or "improved from Morrowind"... I hadn't thought about all the free mods though. I'd heard people could m...

New Video Card vs. XBox 360 (ack!)

I don't usually like RPGs, but I have fond memories of Daggerfall on my PC back in high school, and Elder Scrolls Oblivion sounds like Daggerfall on herbal supplements. I'm very interested in checking it out, only I don't have an XBox 360... So I used System Requirements Lab (http://www.systemrequir...

REVIEW Broken Sword: Circle of Blood

Broken Sword: Circle of Blood is a graphic adventure game in the classic style created (and perfected) by Sierra and LucasArts. Graphic adventures are my absolute favorite genre of video game, and I've played over 50 all the way through. I was out of the scene for a few years, and when I came back I...

Even though I've never really gotten into Star Wars, and haven't played most of the games you mentioned, I still really enjoyed the show. I'm mostly familiar with Episode 1 Racer and one of the SNES ones (I can't even remember which one!). Do you think you could post a list of the Star Wars games yo...

Hmm - was expecting something more like Double Dragon or Battletoads. While it is kind of neat accomplishment-wise, it hurt my eyes and was a pain to control. Now I want to go play Super Mario Bros. 3. (or that new DS Mario Bros -- must save up some money)
